Sadly it's time to say farewell to this wonderful country after a fantastic tour here & in it's equally wonderful neighbor Portugal.
We've seen incredible sights, learned a huge amount of history (with important connections to the US & the wider world), eaten & drunk fantastic food & wine, & walked many, many thousands of steps!
A lot of work goes into making a tour a success, with the local guides & drivers being an especially important part. We've enjoyed some top class guides throughout this tour who all made a big contribution to everyone's pleasure. Most important of all though are the travelers themselves - without their patience, punctuality, understanding, & good humor this tour wouldn't have been nearly so much fun.
