The group landed on schedule this morning. After transferring into the center of Lisbon & checking-in to our hotel there was free time for lunch before we met our local guide Filomena & begin getting to know this fascinating city.
Our explorations today included an introductory tour of Lisbon, especially the ‘suburb’ of Belem, home to the remarkable Jeronimos Monastery.
This evening we enjoyed a great welcome dinner at the renowned 'O Laurentina' restaurant, famous for it's cod - a Portuguese staple.
